Sharing Our Faith Stories – Evangelism Curriculum Resources for Congregation

January 14, 2022 by Terri Robertson 4 Comments

Evangelism doesn’t have to mean handing out pamphlets or cornering strangers at the mall.

Pastor Jennifer Garcia, Associate Pastor of First Lutheran in Fullerton and a member of the Pacifica Synod Evangelism Team, has created a Bible study curriculum for Pacifica Synod congregations to use in their setting about sharing our faith stories in a more relational way. In January and February 2022, she led six online training sessions for congregation leaders wishing to use in their context.

In planning to attend Synod Assembly in May I logged on today and found this study. Gosh I am a couple days too late. Is it recorded so I can watch or share? Is there printed material available.

      Brenda,
The sessions were recorded and these, along with curriculum to download and use in your congregation, will be posted on our website within the next few weeks. Printed materials will also be mailed to every Pacifica Synod congregation in the weeks ahead. You may sign up to receive our synod e-news on the home page of our website (lower right) to receive notifications in advance of opportunities like this.

      Brenda,
We have not been given the curriculum yet to post, but you can find the recordings of the six sessions on our Pacifica Synod YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFXMfNSl_rVRzFDoGiqDuzgQbN_D5jKIH. When Pastor Jennifer provides the curriculum, it will be posted on our website and mailed to each congregation.

Feel free to email me directly if you have further questions at terrirobertson@pacificasynod.org.
