Thursday, August 24 – 7 PM Pacific/4 PM Hawaii
The ELCA’s Resourceful Servants Congregational Financial Assessment (CFA) is a tool to help congregations think about their competencies in 21 money-related best practices. The website – https://resourcefulservants.org/congregations/ – invites congregations to self-assess and track how they are doing with these practices, including helpful resources and providing a forum area for peer-to-peer sharing. Congregations that embrace professionalism and transparency in their financial matters help to reinforce trust with their donors, which sets the table for continued generosity.
We invite you to join us on Thursday, August 24 at 7:00 PM Pacific/4:00 PM Hawaii for a free, one-hour webinar over Zoom to learn about how this resource can help your congregation. All are invited to attend, so please invite your Congregation Council, Finance Committee, and other congregation leaders to join. Pre-registration is required to receive the Zoom link to join and may be done using the button below.
The goal of this program is for your congregation to deepen its financial knowledge and improve its financial behaviors, enabling you to best use the funding available to you. The Resourceful Servants Initiative is a partnership between the ELCA churchwide organization, the Mission Investment Fund of the ELCA, the ELCA Federal Credit Union, the ELCA Foundation, Portico Benefit Services, and Lutheran Social Service (LSS) Financial Counseling.
If you have questions about the webinar or registration, please contact Terri Robertson at 714-692-2791, Ext. 732 or by email at terrirobertson@pacificasynod.org. A flier describing this program to share with others may be found HERE.
