The Pacifica Synod Assembly will be on the campus of Hope Lutheran Church in Palm Desert, on Friday, May 5 through Saturday, May 6, 2023

To prepare for registration so that you have the necessary information on hand when you are ready to do so, we have prepared registration instructions and a worksheet for your use. You may download these forms HERE.
These forms have also been mailed to all congregations.
Remember, prepayment of your congregational assembly registration fee invoice did NOT register your voting members!
Register NOW for Online Synod Budget & Assembly Resolutions Hearings
Saturday, April 29
To better prepare for discussion on Assembly Resolutions and the 2024-2025 Synod Budget, Assembly voting members are provided the opportunity to attend online hearings which will be offered prior to the Assembly over Zoom. Each will be held on Saturday, April 29 and last approximately one hour. Separate registration for each hearing is required.

To register for a hearing, please contact Terri Robertson at 714.692.2791, Ext. 732 or by email at terrirobertson@pacificasynod.org. After you register, you will be sent the Zoom link with further instructions. Copies of the 2024-2025 Synod Budget and 2023 Assembly Resolutions will be available for download along with the rest of the Pre-Assembly reports around April 5.
Synod Assembly business will begin by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5. The Assembly will end by noon on Saturday, May 6. For those arriving on Thursday, May 4, we encourage you to come by Hope Lutheran between 5:00-8:00 p.m. for early check-in (allowing you to save time on Friday) and an evening reception. Some display tables will be open and representatives available from various organizations during this time.

Synod Assembly Call for Reports
Those ministry teams and affiliated organizations wishing to submit a Pre-Assembly Report to be included to the Assembly notebook provided to all voting members may do so by emailing the report to TaSh Elzie, Synod Communications Director at communications@pacificasynod.org. We are only able to accept reports in electronic format (Word or PDF attachment) and ask that you limit your report to a single page, if possible. The deadline for submitting a report is March 31. The Synod Assembly notebook will be available for download in April and posted on this page at that time.
