The privilege and joy of leadership in the Christian Church always comes with many challenges interwoven with many opportunities. Professional and public ministry often appears never-ending and demanding with weekly deadlines, full agendas, crisis management, and enough surprises and unplanned needs to keep the church professional in constant motion. Balancing all of this with personal and family time, devotional, spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual health and wellness demands a life of priorities, discipline and self-care. Throw in a major personal or professional crisis and maintaining the needed balance to lead effectively and faithfully is all the more tested. Our two outstanding speakers this year, along with the worship services, devotional moments, and time for rest and relaxation, will offer every participant good inspiration and sharpened tools for this journey. Built into the agenda will be times of needed respite along the way.
