T.W.O. arranges three- to six-day "immersion education" trips for groups (high-school age through adults, and families), which begin in San Diego, CA, and cross the border into Tijuana and Tecate, Mexico. There we visit persons, places, and projects to put a face of global issues of hunger, poverty, trade and immigration. Work and service projects like house construction or helping out at an orphanage are often part of the experience. Bible studies guide us as we explore solutions to these complicated issues and discover partnerships that might make them happen. And we get to enjoy some of the beauty and traditions of Mexico.
